War is still raging but I've shifted to a different character's story and now there's illness taking over the home front.
I have 3 main characters (actually 4, but I group 2 of them together as a couple). So I alternate chapters in that character's POV.
It's tough, but what I do is write all chapters for one character, then switch to the other. I'm on the last character (the couple). This means I often have to edit what occurred in the other chapters that are already done because it may affect what happened in the current chapter. Or vice versa.
Complex and fun. Still fun. That's the key. When it gets to be a chore: take a break.
Off to kill off someone. Not sure who yet, but I'm sure there will be tears.
